Helping schools, sporting organisations and businesses
to have light bulb moments around their
learning and development needs, with a particular focus on resilience and wellbeing.
Hi! My name is Sarah Creegan. When I was 16, I chose to leave school. Three teachers called me in to chat through my decision. When I wouldn't budge on it, they then separately told me that I 'wouldn't amount to much'. As you might be able to tell, my secondary school was renowned locally for giving young people helpful pep talks, at just the right time!
They didn't put me off though. Since then, I have had a highly enjoyable and successful career as a teacher and Head Teacher, as well as working with some fantastic people, in businesses, sporting and educational organisations on their learning and development needs.
As a Head Teacher, I strove to create a culture of high expectations, in which everyone was appropriately challenged, supported and encouraged to be the best they could be. The 'whole child' was developed and valued within an inclusive and nurturing environment. I considered it my moral and professional responsibility to build personal resilience in all children and adults, to promote their lifelong healthy emotional wellbeing.
As a consultant, I am keen to work with schools and organisations with similar values and beliefs. Also, those that are on a journey of improvement. I have a wealth of knowledge, experience and particular interests in:
Supporting leaders to do a great job, with a focus on their own and their team’s good mental health and wellbeing;
Promoting resilience, reflection and growth mindsets – personally and throughout organisations;
Supporting and improving the emotional wellbeing of children and adults – in particular, those working with young people in schools and sporting organisations;
Embracing diversity and developing even more inclusive practice.
To the moon and back.
Well, maybe not to the moon and back - but I am very happy to travel around the country and the world to give support. Recently, I've worked in Japan, Luxembourg, Italy, China and Hong Kong. As well as deepest Somerset, Bournemouth, Norfolk, Manchester, Durham, Newcastle - and hundreds of places in between.
Size doesn't matter!
I love working with organisations of all shapes and sizes. Whether it's offering 1:1 wellbeing support for HeadTeachers; or delivering INSET days in small village schools like the fabulous Burton Agnes CofE Primary; or working with large organisations, such as The Premier League Charitable Foundation, to promote children's good mental health through sport.
It's good to talk.
All support is flexible and bespoke. Here are some ideas,
but it's always helpful to chat through your learning and development needs. We can do this on the phone or in
person.
Consultancy Support for leadership, wellbeing, inclusion
and continuous improvement;
Training, including keynotes, INSETs and workshops;
Mentoring and Coaching for aspiring, middle and senior leaders;
In-house Support for leadership capacity, INCo and SENDCo cover.
Make 'em laugh.
We know that people learn better, and are more likely to remember training, when they are having fun. Therefore, all sessions aim to:
Be bespoke;
Be interactive - addressing important issues in a lively and engaging way;
Include real life examples, anecdotes and humour;
Give a range and variety of practical ideas.
-
Good environment, humour, connected activities, rapport with the group. It made me think hard, with plenty of 'OUCH' moments.

Lots of tasks that provoked thought and encouraged all to share. Fantastic content, informative and relevant!
-
Excellent subject knowledge and able to go deeper beyond presentation to engage the room.

Showed a great sense of humour, kept it very energetic.

Great informative course. Really opened my eyes to new things I can apply to work and day to day life.

Thank you Sarah! You have been a fantastic support this term, for the interim period before our Inclusion Lead joins us. I will absolutely recommend you if I hear of a school that needs interim and/or other temporary support or INSET days.

Thank you Sarah. You linked the content brilliantly with the aims of the session. The only thing I would say to improve is more time with you. It was great.

Sarah has a very professional, realistic, passionate and genuine style of delivery and has excellent knowledge and understanding on how to inspire, motivate and encourage good practice.
Our staff were fully engaged and have already fed back on how Sarah’s delivery has changed their thinking and approach to certain scenarios, resulting in a greater impact in the work they do.
A huge thank you from the Fulham FC Foundation and we look forward to working with you again soon!

Thank you Sarah for two fantastic practical sessions on children’s and teachers’ well-being. Our PGCE students fed back that they were exactly what they needed. Also, that the sessions really helped them to see their way forward and the importance of looking after themselves in the profession. They appreciated your humorous approach to a serious subject, and loved the sing-a-long at the end!

Thank you so much Sarah,
Our sessions together have allowed me to reflect on my role, how I tackle it, how I manage it (and not it manage me and my life) and given me new horizons to aim for.
Your natural, friendly nature and open approach made our meetings a positive and enjoyable experience.
You really have empowered me and allowed me to realise that I still have a few new tricks up my sleeve!

I have always found Sarah to be a sympathetic ear and an excellent role model. With her wealth of experience and training, and her great sense of humour, she is able to give sound advice and she always helps to keep a good sense of perspective. She cares deeply about people and is passionate about children's education so understands the importance of positive relationships and developing supportive cultures in schools.

When you hear Sarah speak, her energy, enthusiasm and commitment to the well-being of children and staff are clearly evident. This is what convinced me that my son should go to her school. I believe that Sarah is the ideal person to support others and would highly recommend her.
